What does Deb do?

Deberah Tate is a photographer with a passion for working dogs and everything countryside. Deberah is usually found in the field or studio in order to capture moments and memories before transforming them into individual works of art, to be treasured for years to come.

Deberah aims to capture the essence of the working dog either in a studio portrait or working out in the field.

  • Dog Studio Art

Props have been sourced to create a studio environment based on the working dog (or country theme). The owner may bring their own props to add to the scene such as muddy boots and hunting accessories. The birds in the image are taxidermy props.

FAQs

  • Deberah works alongside Bev Etherington, a highly qualified and experienced dog trainer who will be present during the shoot. Your dog does not have to be off the lead as this can be edited out in the post processing stage. A safe fenced off area is provided for your dog to run around, jump, retrieve and any other requests. Outdoor sessions are subject to extreme weather conditions but you will be contacted in advance to re schedule the shoot.

  • The photography studio is situated within a barn at Wolds Gundog Academy, Millington, York.

This provides a safe and secure friendly space for you and your dogs.

  • Realistically speaking, the portrait session collections offered have a great deal of value packed inside them and past clients have never said or suggested what Deberah offers is overpriced. In fact, most come back time and time again for more photographs!

Deberah’s Portrait Collections, can be seen on the Sessions page. Full product guides can be requested prior to booking and most clients tend to invest between £150 and £700 on their photographic session and artwork afterwards.
